Looking for church volunteer opportunities in Toronto? Use your gifts to serve God and our church family at Sunday worship. Our Service Assistants help our worship and fellowship run smoothly.

During the Service

• Greeters: welcome everyone at the door
• Readers: read Scripture during the service
• Intercessors: lead the prayers of the people
• Communion Assistants: assist at communion
• Servers Guild: carry the cross and candles, ring the bell, and help at the altar

Before and After the Service

• Sanctuary Guild: prepare the altar and communion vessels before the service and tidy up afterwards
• Coffee Hour Hosts: after the service, everyone gathers in the kitchen and hall for coffee and fellowship. Hosts set up the coffee and refreshments so everything is ready

Get Involved

Roles rotate by Sunday. No prior experience is needed, and training is provided. Children and youth are welcome too, as Servers, Readers, or Intercessors.
Need community service hours for school? We’re happy to sign off on your volunteer hours. High school students welcome.
